Siege could be seen spread across a river-boat with his back against the wood. The boat in he laid in gently flowed against the river current, passing through the city courtyard. With his hands against the back of his head, his gazed fixed on the sunny-sky. Yesterday, when he had logged in, the day was overcast with a light rain across the streets of Mac Anu. Siege found himself fascinated by this; weather patterns changing from a cold sprinkle one day and sunny to the next. It all felt so real, like the real world, only better! His attention was finally pulled away from the sky when realized he was passing the way to the Chaos Gate. Siege got his feet and balanced on the swaying boat. Once adjusted, Siege jumped from the boat and, even with the hulking Blaze Blade across his back, landed lightly onto the road. The Heavy Blade walked in the direction of the Chaos Gate when sword obstructed his path. Siege was phased. They were afterall in Mac Anu and players made rude gestures such as this all the time. "Go where Heavy?" He mumbled under his breath, a little irritated that the scene that the scene had pull him out of his peace. Siege was surprised that the Blade Master desired combat. Was this guy not aware that Player-Versus-Player was disabled within Mac Anu. It was only in the fields that people could duel. Perhaps he was new. This place was amazing! Kai had already spent several hours just wandering the whole of Mac Anu. Everything was just so cool looking. He probably looked like an idiot wandering around town and being generally amazed by things veteran players thought of as normal. He didn't care though. This was the coolest looking game he'd ever seen.

Finally pulling himself away from his sight-seeing, he decided it would be best to try out the game's other features. This was an MMO after all so the point was to go do RPG stuff. He'd played online games before but never a big named one such as this. He wondered what it would be like once he got onto a field.

Sure he'd read the manual but there was only so much one could learn form a book. Learn through experience. That was his motto.

Quickly, the Blademaster made his way back through the crowded streets towards the Chaos Gate. He briefly wondered if maybe he should try joining a party. No, I'd rather check this out on my own first. He thought to himself. He'd always been a loner when it came to online games.

On his way to the gate, he came to a stop when he saw a Heavy Blade blocking someone's path with his huge sword. Kai was a little confused by the sight because he thought that PvP wasn't allowed in Root Towns. He watched with a little bit of interest as the two spoke to each other. The one who brandished his sword sounded like he was lost. How can you not know where the gate is? You appear next to it when you log in. Kai thought as he sweat-dropped slightly at this.

The Heavy Blade put his sword away and seemed to look around sheepishly, well almost.The other guy started talking and seemed to introduce himself. Kai kept his distance for the moment. Sometimes players were just plain weird.

Not to mention, okay, he wanted a peek at the other players. There were a lot of people milling about, chatting it up and getting to know each other. Some seemed to know each other from who knew how long? If he was the lonely type, he almost mighta been jealous. "Aw man, dude, that would help so frakking much, you have no idea! Soon after the other Heavy Blade adress a Blade Master in the distance. Siege was cultivating new players, just moments after leaving the boat he was resting upon. He enjoyed helping others, so long as it led to an adventure! He looked at "Hey there Blade." Even if Siege knew their usernames, it was a force of habits to call players by the first name of their class. He very rarely called them by anything else, unless there were multiple players of the same class, but three-five in a group was Siege's maximum and he preferred variety when grouping with others. The only person he ever called by the username naturally was Hindley, but that may have been because they new each other in real life. The Blademaster had been thinking about walking away when the guy that had gotten lost called out to him. Kai sweat-dropped even more at the guy's words. Was he lost too? No, Kai could still easily remember where everything was. Never mind that he had spent the last few hours memorizing everything he could about Mac Anu.

I still have to wonder how someone could not remember where the gate was... He thought with a sigh.

When the other man noticed him an called out, Kai just gave a slight wave. Well, looked like he needed to talk to them now. After all they'd noticed him so it wasn't like he could just ignore them.

"Hi there." He said politely once he was up close. He held out his hand for one more both of them to shake. He figured he might as well be polite. Kai hoped this didn't take to long. He really wanted to get onto one of those fields.
