GOLDRUSH “ Oops, did I stab you? Yeah, I stabbed you. Oops. ” ( male, 20, straight, unaligned, app link ) FRIENDS LIFT YOU UP WHEN YOU FALL (but true friends laugh first ) FRIENDS: They say that being evil doesn't usually pay. Most times this is true, at least for the truly inherently evil. The lesser evils usually have an easier time of it. Take Rush for example: he's a cheater, a liar, a traitor and a thief, but he can make friends like it's nothing. A few kind words, some minor trading, run a few dungeons and bam, he's pulling in new equipment and social security numbers like fish from a river. He will lie, trick and decieve to make profit. If Rush wants to be your friend, it only means you look like someone he can dick over in the long run. No shortcuts, no exceptions.
...okay, so maybe there's a few exceptions. Genuine like interests, jokes, fiery redheads with a passion for adventure, tons of things he hides from everyone else. He's a dog person. He likes trains. He can be a little oblivious to the outside world at times. No tragic past or anything, he's just a bit shy on detailing personal info. Get into his personality, and you might just make a friend out of a murderer...or get murdered yourself. IF I WROTE YOU A SYMPHONY ( it would probably suck, but you'd feel special anyway ) LOVE: No. Ask him, he's got a girlfriend. No, she doesn't live in Canada. Internet dating is for weirdos.
...then again, weirdos play games like The World, don't they? THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY IS STILL KIND OF MY ENEMY ( I hate everyone sometimes ) HATE: Now that's a good one. Tons of people hate Rush: people he's screwed over, people he's PK'd, federal agents, mods, admins, Skeith, and a metric shitton of others. He doesn't particularly hate anyone in general, but he does kind of hate everyone in general. If he didn't, stealing would be a lot freaking harder.
side note: if you ever do manage to make Rush hate you, be prepared. Just. Be. Prepared. GRAB A FORK (cause this is done~ ) OTHER: Uuuuuuugh I never know what to put here. If you feel like you might wanna play around with a jerk Rogue, leave a post about it. ;D. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- plot chart made by NOWAKI of btn. lyrics from ageha by mucc.

I can't decide if Murmur would be an exception to his rule or someone he'd mess with in the end. MURMUR has that guy chick / tom boy thing written all over her. She's an endgamer in the making. She likes to play and play hard. And she likes earning her own way.
Torn between using a male character in game and just going ahead on a female, she has a problem with characters who try to give her things or coddle her. She's chosen twinblade because she enjoys being a jack of all trades and comes up with sometimes clever ways of soloing most tasks when she could just ask for help. She's always in the field, always!
There's more than this in her summary but the part that really got me grinning in all this is your section on Love & Hate. In which Murmur feels similar in many respects. She's here to game, not find romance. Rather than hate everyone, she mostly just views them in the most apathetic way possible. As if they are part of a virtual interface and if she suffers through enough bull she can finally click OK and move on to leveling.
So all this got me to wondering how these two would interact if they ever met up. Would like to hear your thoughts.

orchid would probably get annoyed with rush because he pks but isn't a part of her guild. and she would probably pk him just because of his overall attitude. his personality just rubs her the wrong way. :x or his not being a part of her guild rubs her the wrong way since she would probably deal with his personality were he in it.
anyway she's a bitch and is probably that person that fits that saying: "there's always someone better" or something like that when compared to rush. i can see her [attempting to] terrorize/ing him: "oh, aren't you the big, bad pker? maybe i'll show you something,"
idk. i just want to mess with him. ;u;

MURMUR
Thanks for replying. c: Rush isn't so much "apathetic" to people, he's just one of those guys who takes out his agression via being a jerk online. I'm sure he doesn't have many IRL friends, and if he does, they barely tolerate him. That's why he's in The World; if he can find something that help him ease out of the real world, he won't go berzerk.
If she doesn't like being coddled and receiving gifts go, she's a little out of luck on Rush. Ever see the beginning of Roots, where the PKs help Haseo to the end of the dungeon and then kill him? That's Rush in a nutshell. XD Gifts, favors, sweet talk, anything to get the gold in the end. I'm sure meeting someone opposed to making easy alliances would give him a bit of a challenge.
@orchid
And thank you as well. c: I'm going to keep Rush out of a guild for as long as I can, see where he leads me first. Being a guild-neutral player just seems easiest, since most groups have restrictions about stealing from other guild members, and setting the entirety of DIH on his trail would be...hectic. :P
As far as being a PK goes, it isn't the case of "I PK because it's fun", it's more of "I PK because it's easy". Travel with Rush, and you'll see that he doesn't really enjoy taking out other players, but if there's something he wants, he'll get it by any means he can. Knocking people out is just a formailty. I can see some harsh words being exchanged. "What, oooo, girl with a stick. Go ride a Grunty." XD And yeah, a lot of people want to mess with him. Step in line.

orchid doesn't wait in lines for anything. ~u~
but lol i'm loving this even more because of how he'd come back at her. most people kind of get put off by orchid because of her insults (with good reason; not that she would normally have it any other way), but rush actually sounds like he would be able to keep up with her. which would make arguing with him extremely entertaining for her and she would eventually come to actually like his company because she obviously likes arguing a lot. he would be the first person to actually challenge her like this. ;o;
