enemies 5ever?
thrym is an arrogant PKer, and a member of the resident PKing guild. though his personality can be pretty fluid, he's definitely a troll -- he likes to cause chaos and misunderstanding and gets a good laugh out of others' pain. (and he loves to put others into awkward situations because what could possibly be more fun than that?)
we could have them meet and maybe thrym PKs/attempts to PK echo, and have the strife start there -- or perhaps echo has simply heard of him and his guild from others? or, if you wanted, thrym could play a nice guy around echo and then stab him in the back later. either way, they would probably get into a lot of fights and that could be lots of fun. c: |

I could definitely see a series of confrontations between Echo and Thrym. Hm... I think that the betrayal idea is brilliant as well. That would definitely give Echo a reason to spite PKers, and would most likely be a brilliant RP. XP I'm getting all excited just thinking about it. XD Thrym is a perfect counter to Echo's personality. Echo can't stand to see others in pain and this could also be an interesting point to play of off. Anyways, yes! A resounding yes! Now, I ask of you, when shall this take place? I would like to start right away, of course, but if you're busy with other posts at the moment, I'm always willing to wait. ^^ |

Depending on how you wanna play it out... maybe Echo could already be in a dungeon and find himself in a bit of trouble, and Thrym comes along and "rescues" him? And by that I mean killed the monster that was giving him a hard time, not knowing Echo was there, and then TOTALLY taking all credit for his heroism and strutting around like a jackass for the rest of the thread. ...

It sounds like Echo and Akujiki would be an interesting pair to play off of. As someone who plays his game in a way to hone his skills, raise his levels, and be the best player he can be (from an internal desire to do his best read perfectionist) I'd be curious to see how Echo responded by that sort of old world swordsman's quest for end game.
While he wouldn't brag about what he's capable of, would Akujiki's very drive for meeting his own insanely high standards sit well or would it cross a line for someone like Echo. Either way it might make for some interesting casual encounters between the two.

Echo and Thrym
That’s not a bad idea, actually. XD It would be an interesting way for the two to meet after all. I mean, being ‘saved’ by some unknown player would most definitely get a rise out of Echo. Albeit, it may not be a very good one. Of course, the strutting around bit might cause him to get increasingly annoyed. XD I like that idea. I’ll come up with a starting post sometime soon, I promise. Though, it’s kind of late now and I won’t be able to post today. (Also, sorry about not noticing your reply sooner than I have.)
Echo and Akujiki
Cool. ^^ It’d be cool to have Echo meet up with an endgamer. I could definitely see a friendship of sorts forming between the two as Echo tries to keep up with Akujiki’s fervor. Echo could maybe follow Akujiki around, whether he likes it or not, trying to get him to relax a bit more as opposed to focusing so intently on the endgame. I could see some humorous situations forming. XD (As before, sorry about not noticing your reply sooner than I have.) Any thoughts on how they might meet up? I ask because I like to hear others’ opinions on the matter before I go off and decide something. I hope this doesn’t bother you too much.

Np ^_^ I just got settled here, myself. He's still a new player at the moment, but endgame is where he's going; of that there's no denying. I can definitely see some potentially really funny moments coming out of Echo becoming a shadow constantly urging him to chill out.  So I'm definitely game to give it a shot. Not at all! As far as settings go I guess they could either meet in a field someplace or stumble across one another in Mac Anu. I'm pretty open to anything. Any preferences yourself? |
