Registration complete. Loading Area: Δ Mac Anu… .. . Load complete. Welcome to The World. A white light washed over ‘Echo’, as he was now known, as he booted up the world. He had spent a fair amount of time personalizing his character. Deciding that he rather liked the idea of being a powerhouse, despite the speed decrease, he had settled on being a Heavyblade. The light had startled him, and his head ached slightly as he tried to adjust to his surroundings. As the pain began to fade, he began to notice the form of buildings around him. This was the root town of the delta server: Δ Mac Anu. The graphics surprised him greatly, and he didn’t hesitate to look at his hands. It all seemed pretty realistic. This was going to be a blast. He took one small step, adjusting himself to his character and the weight of Enigma, the large sword he carried… That was when it dawned on him. He really wasn’t sure where to begin. Having only just joined, it wasn’t like he knew all too well how things operated. Sure, he had read the operator’s manual, but his memory was a weak point of his… “Oh well…” He sighed slightly, noticing it appearing in the chat almost immediately after he had spoken the words. After walking a few paces, he noticed a bridge spanning the length across a flowing river. It was quite something to look at, and it didn’t take long before Echo found himself staring into the waters below it. It didn’t take long, but Echo was already smiling widely. His nervous thoughts and confusion were washed away in that moment. Everything felt still and calm. It was a wonderful feeling… It was the beginning of his life in The World. Around the chaos gate, fragments and bits of pixels started to form in a tornado-like funnel. As they came together, they stayed together. This all happened within only a few seconds. The trio of golden rings ascended into the sky, and another character had been loaded into the Root Town.
Mezzanotte grasped her King Saw with a skeletal hand. It was a Root Town, a Safe Zone, but maybe she could pick out some unsuspecting targets. Maybe she could lure one into a field. Who knows.
She scanned the area before her with her crimson eyes, one leaking a strange red substance. It almost looked like her eye was flaming and on fire. She too had spent countless hours customizing her character. From the jet black hair, long and straight until the ends, where they grew slightly wavy, to the horns on top of her head. To her black jacket that hid her black, skeletal arms. They were not like a normal skeleton. The hands were like claws, large like an animal's paws, and menacing to look upon. When her arms rest by her side, the claws reached well past her hips.
A blank stare scanned the town some more, only this time, she was moving. She took long, slow, but steady steps that made her long boots stomp against the cobblestone pathways. Mezzanotte had no idea where to go right now. So she walked up to the first player she saw.
As she approached Echo, she asked in a slow, definitely creepy, but almost whisper of a voice, "Do we bleed in this game? I wonder what color it is..."

[atrb=border,0,true][/style] [STYLE=float: right; font-size: 10px; font-family: width: 360px; height: 300px; overflow: auto; padding: 10px; text-align: justify; color:7E7E7E;] “I wonder what the rest of The World is like… I almost look forward to visiting the fields.” He said to himself, a smile growing across his face. Of course, this was all just a mask really. His true persona was sitting behind a desk, shaking as he input every action his character did. Even still, he had decided that he’d be different in ‘The World’. This time, he intended on being cheery and upbeat. Having been so taken with the images reflected back from the surface of the river, he had drowned out the sounds of Mezzanotte approaching. In fact, it hadn’t dawned on him until the moment she began speaking. That creepy tone… It washed over Echo… almost sending a shiver up his spine. He jumped slightly as he turned around. Seeing a girl in front of him clad in black, he hesitated. Realizing that he had already begun to fail at his original goals, he flipped personality again and gave a wide grin. “That’s a bleak thought. Why think about that?” He asked, taking the moment to analyze the person in more detail. A large sword with a serrated edge, as dark as the clothing she wore… It didn’t take much before Echo came to the conclusion that she was a heavyblade much like him. Moving his line of sight once more, he met her gaze. Red eyes… It made his stomach lurch. Echo had never seen such searing red eyes carry such a cold stare before… It didn’t take long, however, before Echo came to the conclusion to cast those thoughts aside. It wasn’t his right to judge others on appearance alone. No. He’d have to get to know this person before he even began to understand her. That was when it dawned on him that he hadn’t yet introduced himself, and having gotten caught up in the moment he continued before allowing time for Mezzanotte to answer his earlier question. “I’m Echo.” He said, his grin still plastered to his face. “And you are?” [/style][/td][td][STYLE=background-color: #f2f0f0; padding: 8px; border: 2px solid #7E7E7E; width: 150px; padding: 5px;][STYLE=width: 150px;][/style] [/IMG][/style] [STYLE=background-color: fbfafa; border: 2px solid #7E7E7E;width: 100px; padding: 7px;font-size: 10px;] Class: Heavyblade[/style] [STYLE=background-color: fbfafa; border: 2px solid #7E7E7E;width: 100px; padding: 7px;font-size: 10px;] Guild: N/A[/style] [STYLE=background-color: fbfafa; border: 2px solid #7E7E7E;width: 100px; padding: 7px;font-size: 10px;] Level: 1[/style] [/center][/td][/tr][/table][/style]
